My first tattoo
This is my friend Ryan’s -first- tattoo right after he got it done. Zelda was a huge part of his childhood so he wanted to pay tribute to that. Also, there are a couple of us getting Zelda tattoos so it’s become sort of a symbol of our friendship as well.
As with all Legend of Zelda tattoos, I got this tattoo because I enjoyed playing this game so much as a child. It’s also a strong reminder of my older brother, who has been living in Korea for 3 years now. The missing half of the life bar signifies the death of my Father last December, this is something that has been told to no one until now. What appears to be just a symbol of my childhood to others has a lot of meaning to me.
This is my fourth tattoo. I submitted my boo tattoo a month ago and got this one done a month after I got that one. I wanted another character from Super Mario World, and Bullet Bill was the first one that came to mind. The white still has to be filled in, but so far I love it!

I freaking love Mega Man. I really wanted a pixelated tattoo, but was seriously concerned about the result because it is hundreds of small straight lines and it could have gone horribly wrong. My tattoo artist was very confident about being able to do it and hit the colors correctly, so he went at it. It is on my lower right back/hip area, right above my pants line and was fairly painful, but didn’t take super long, so it was all good. He had a lot of fun doing it and said it was the first time ever doing something like that. I was mega stoked with the result and I think he did a perfect job on it. I liked it so much so that I got Proto Man next to him!

After 2 session of work and the last like 6 hours of pain.. i am happy for the result.. its a amazing tattoo from one of my favorite character of video games, my first video game was this one and was the begging for me to started in the world of the console.
im so happy with my tattoo artist and with his work.. the color, the shadows, the design its amazing and looks amazing on my arm :D
